ENRICHMENT OF MANURE/COMPOST WITH BIO- CONTROL AGENTS MANURES OR COMPOSTS: There are varieties of Composts and manures. Composts: Kitchen Compost / Town or Municipal Compost / Vermicompost / Coir Pith Compost / Human Waste Compost. Manures: Cow dung or other cattle manure / Farm Yard Manure. It’s advisable to use only well matured, digested Composts / Manures in the field, garden or Pots. PHYSICAL NATURE OF GOOD MANURES/COMPOST: 1. Dark brown in colour. 2. Not having foul smell. 3. Having earthly smell. 4. Completely cooled one. 5. Less in particle size. TECHNICAL FACTORS OF MANURE/COMPOST: 1. pH – 5.5 to 7. 2. Electrical Conductivity – 1 to 3 dSm -1 3.
